"Delicious! 🤤 We stopped in for dinner on our Christmas travels. The food was fast and hot, rich in flavor, and in large portions! We ordered the special (Blackened Red Fish), Chicken crepes, a cheese and sausage app, and the Bananas Foster. So so delicious! The staff were friendly and high chairs made it easy to enjoy dinner with our 1 year old. Only thing that would have made our visit perfect is if there was a changing table in the bathroom. Thanks for a great dinner!"

"Awesome restaurant, newly reopened under new ownership. The food is delicious and they give large portions. The place is clean and welcoming, and the staff and new owners are wonderful. The Cesar salad is hand made and absolutely wonderful. I'm not usually a fan of salads, but I ate this one so fast I almost forgot to take a photo. I asked for medium rare on my rosemary steak, and unlike many places, that's how it came out. My husband loved the catfish filet and shrimp gumbo, and said their new grits were better than ever. They have daily specials and are bringing out new things to try all the time! Check it out!"

"Absolutely amazing experience. First of all , i love the fact that it’s literally underground lol 😂 it gives me bunker /storm shelter vibes. Basic decor makes you feel it’s gonna be a “basic”‘ meal but let me tell you it’s anything but BASIC !!!! this place is thriving with great service and food that will have your taste buds dancing ❤️ I ordered the gumbo which was good , great flavor that wasn’t too spicy but wasn’t too mild and was far from bland .. the only complaint I would have is how big the okra was but that’s not really important unless you hate okra . 🤷🏻‍♀️ my friend got the Philly and literally still praises it lol 😂 I got the shrimp and grits 😳 y’all …. Let me tell you … this decision was not made lightly bc they had so many amazing choices on their menu ! However , I am soooo glad I did bc it was absolutely delicious !!!🤤 perfect cheesy floavored grits w/ the perfect pairing of Cajun sauce and shrimp .. this dish was great for Leftovers the next day too .. you get a lot for your money and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!! Highly recommended and I’ll be back for sure ❤️"

"This is a very unique cafe. Very welcoming, the food was great and Stephanie our waitress was wonderful. Definitely a nice spot to stop and eat. I had a shrimp po boy and it was delicious and a generous sandwich. "

"Definitely one of my favorite spots in town. Love the private feel of going downstairs and escaping into the more quiet atmosphere especially during a noisy town event. The food selection never disappoints, especially for the kids which I really appreciate, although I think the kids portions definitely need to be bigger. The adult portions certainly are very generous, enough so you will most likely have enough for another meal or to share with a partner if you so choose. My only complaint would be the bananas foster too warm, it melted within seconds and turned into banana soup. Still very tasty, but soup! Everything else great and I'll definitely be back."
